The Commissioner for Information and Communication, Honorable Kingsley Fanwo, has praised the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for fostering media collaboration and trust with journalists in the state.
Speaking today at the Kogi State Government Annual Media Report organised by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media Hon. Ismaila Isah at the Government House Lokoja, the commissioner expressed satisfaction with the report, describing it as a commendable initiative and the first of its kind in the state.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Information and Communication, Mr. Adurodija Ebenezer, Fanwo emphasized the importance of the Media Report as a tool for measuring Government’s performance that would in turn promote good governance.
In his words ” the Annual Media Report is a good concept, I will not speak on the Content until I go through it,. Being the first of its kind in the State, it is something commendable” he said
Fanwo further expressed satisfaction with the Media Report and commended the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Hon. Ismaila Isah for contributing to the Media History in Kogi State.
