Journalists commend Information Commissioner’s leadership, media-friendly policies, welfare support and role in projecting Ododo Administration By Segun Adegboyega The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kogi State Council, has passed a vote of confidence in the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, describing him as a worthy ambassador of the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo-led administration. The Council, in a statement signed by its Chairman, Alhaji Ademu Sheidu Haruna, and Secretary, Comrade Atuluku Samuel, PhD, commended Fanwo for what it described as his outstanding leadership, effectiveness and commitment to the programmes and achievements of the Kogi State Government. The journalists particularly praised the Commissioner for maintaining a cordial and productive relationship with practising journalists across the state, noting that his support for the media and welfare initiatives had strengthened cooperation between the Ministry and the journalism community. According to the Council, Fanwo’s dedication, sincerity, integrity and commitment to service had earned him considerable respect and confidence among media practitioners and other stakeholders in public communication.
