‎To significantly boost Internally Generated Revenue of state and improve the living condition of the people, Kogi State created Crusher Toll Gate: a strategic revenue initiative designed to reduce over dependence on federal allocation and ensure that Kogi State can fund its developmental agenda without waiting for federal releases.

‎To further safeguard the lives of the people living in the riverine communities and boost domestic trade beyond the shores of Kogi State, Ministry of Transportation in collaboration with National Inland Waterways Authority established kogi state Inland Waterways Authority and inaugurated 25-seated fly boats and also donated 4 fiber glass boats to maritime workers.

‎In additional, Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy handed over 1,000 life jackets to State Ministry of Transportation, reposing its confidence in the state’s waterways programmes.

‎With the Airport unlocking air connectivity, the Crusher Toll Gate regulating highway freight, the Waterways Authority connecting riverine areas, and the N142 Billion terminal anchoring mass transit, Kogi is no longer a pass-through state. Kogi is a destination.
