The proposed budget totals #10,058,978,638 and focuses on key initiatives aimed at providing affordable housing, promoting urban infrastructure, and improving the overall quality of life for residents of Kogi State.

“We are dedicated to fulfilling the government’s commitments to the people of Kogi State,” stated Hon. Abanika. “The budget proposals outline our plans to tackle the state’s housing challenges and promote sustainable urban renewal.”

The Commissioner emphasized that the Ministry is responsible for all government structures and properties, as well as initiating, designing, and executing capital projects in the areas of Housing and Urban Infrastructure across the state. Key sectors of focus include Housing and Urban Development.

Hon. Abanika also highlighted the Ministry’s achievements in 2024, noting that several projects were either completed or nearing completion within the financial year.
