By: Aliyu Abubakar Musa 9th July, 2026 The Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Security Trust Fund (KGSSTF), Air Vice Marshal Omeiza Umar, DSS, MSS, FWC (Rtd.), has been appointed as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Northern States Security Trust Fund (NSSTF), marking another significant milestone in his distinguished career in public service and security administration. The Board of Trustees was inaugurated on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, by the Northern States Governors under the auspices of the Northern States Governors' Forum. The Board is co-chaired by Alhaji Mahmud Yayale Ahmed, CFR, and General Martin Luther Agwai, CFR two eminent Nigerians with vast experience in public administration and national security. AVM Omeiza Umar's appointment reflects the confidence reposed in his leadership, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to strengthening Nigeria's security architecture. It also recognizes his outstanding contributions to enhancing security collaboration, institutional development, and resource mobilization in support of law enforcement and other security agencies. Since assuming office as Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Security Trust Fund, AVM Omeiza Umar (Rtd.) has repositioned the Trust Fund through purposeful leadership and strategic interventions.
