The ongoing Kogi State Teachers Recruitment Exercise is going according to plans.
This was disclosed to www.kogistate.gov.ng in an exclusive interview by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones.
Hon. Jones said the Committee saddled with the responsibility is working round the clock to ensure that “the best among the applicants are employed to teach our students”.
“The Committee is working very hard to ensure that the right thing is done to fulfill the determination of the Governor to make sure only the best are put in classrooms to teach.
“The Committee is reviewing the performances of the applicants at the interview conducted to test the applicants after the CBT. We are almost through with what we are doing and Kogites will be proud of the process.
“We had earlier conducted the need assessment of our schools across the state to carefully identify the gaps which this exercise is meant to fill”.
The Commissioner commended the Governor for prioritizing education, saying his investment today will bear excellent fruits tomorrow for the greatness of the state.
