Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe has charged Youths in the the State to unite and shun tribal sentiment for the development of the State.
Hon. Anyebe gave the charge when he received National and State Executives of Youth Assembly of Nigeria in his office in Lokoja.
The Commissioner said the need for unity can not be over emphasized as there can not be development in an atmosphere of rancour.
He advised Youths in the State to be agent of change by leaving in peace and harmony at all times for the growth and development of the State.
According to Hon. Anyebe, the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has total passion for Youth development and progress in the State.
Ealier, the National Youth Ambassador of the Assembly, Amb. Mustapha Hassan Obaje described the Commissioner as a Youth friendly and Ambassador of Youth development in the state.
Amb. Obaje on behalf of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria passed a vote of confidence on the Commissioner for his quality leadership style in Youth activities in the State.
While commeding Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for appointing Hon. Monday Anyebe as Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Amb. Obaje pledged of their unalloyed support and loyalty to the present administration in the State.
Also speaking, the Speaker of Kogi State Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Rt. Hon. Bologi Muhammad Yaba assured the Commissioner of their total support to the present administration.
