The Kogi State Government reaffirms its dedication to serving the people, as the government exists for the benefit of its citizens.

Deputy Governor Comrade Joel Salifu emphasized this commitment during a meeting with Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, and his team on June 20, 2024.

Comrade Salifu commended Hon. Fanwo for his innovative approach to managing the state’s information, particularly through initiatives like the Kogi Stride Magazines.

He praised Fanwo as a diligent Information Officer, highlighting the importance of keeping the public informed to prevent misinformation.

The Deputy Governor reiterated Governor Ododo’s steadfast commitment to improving citizens’ welfare and developing infrastructure across various sectors of the state.

In his remarks, Hon. Fanwo stressed the importance of communicating government programs, policies, and achievements through various channels.

He announced that Kogi Stride Magazines would now be published monthly, showcasing government activities in different sectors, ministries, parastatals, and agencies.

The magazines would be available in both hard and soft copies for easy access by the public.

Hon. Fanwo reassured the people of Kogi State that under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the government would deliver on its promises of democracy.

He pledged that the Ministry of Information would continue to play a crucial role in ensuring that accurate and relevant information reaches all members of the community.
