The Kogi State Executive Council has approved a draft Budget of All Inclusive Development to the State House of Assembly.
Presenting the draft budget at the weekly State Executive Council Meeting, Wednesday, the State Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Idris Asiru said the budget is an ambitious drive of the Ododo Administration to drive the economy to the next level.
Briefing newsmen at the end of the Council meeting, Hon. Asiru said the State has continued to channel its resources towards attaining greatness.
He said the state is projecting a budget of N582,404,119,489 for the year 2025, insisting that the draft was a product of the State’s alignment with her development goals as encapsulated in the 32 Years Development Plan of the State.
He said the Ododo Administration is committed to Open Governance and Transparency, urging the citizens to take ownership of the Budget when considered and passed by the State House of Assembly.
