By Gloria Amodu Ojochogu The State Ministry of Works which is known for its quality delivery of Roads infrastructure and other projects for the benefit and betterment of Kogites has carried out an intense projects supervision Across the State on Tuesday. The commissioner for Works Hon. Barr. Abdulsalami Momodu Ozigi Deedat how lead the team of Engineers to some projects sites was satisfied with what he saw and told the contractors to deliver on time. Barr. Deedat, pointed out that the Ministry will not compromise on its mandate and that the sole responsibility of maintenance of road and road infrastructure falls back on the ministry and that is why the Supervision is very necessary, so that they can comply to the Standards that has been given. He said that one of the core obligations of the ministry is monitoring and Evaluation of projects and the progress of work done within the State. Emphasizing that his Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo the Governor of Kogi State is out for the transformation of the State, and the overall infrastructural development across the state which is going to be his legacy laid behind for his people. Hon. Barr. Deedat, expressed his Gratitude to the level of work done so far and urge them to deliver the work between the time frame.
