In a congratulatory message personally signed by the Governor, he celebrated Prince Akanmode for his remarkable contributions to public service, governance and national development, noting that his distinguished career reflects a life dedicated to the service of the people. The Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated former Secretary to the Kogi State Government and former Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Prince Olusola Akanmode, on the occasion of his 76th birthday, describing him as a brilliant prince, exceptional statesman and distinguished son of Kogi State who has made the state proud on many fronts.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by the Governor, he celebrated Prince Akanmode for his remarkable contributions to public service, governance and national development, noting that his distinguished career reflects a life dedicated to the service of the people.

I have benefited greatly from his counsel, particularly his ability to bring history, experience and sound judgment to bear on contemporary issues of governance.

“His contribution to public service is not measured only by the positions he has held, but also by the wisdom he has continued to share and the leaders he has continued to guide. That is the mark of a true statesman.

“At 76, we celebrate a life of remarkable service, intellectual excellence, leadership and commitment to the progress of our dear state and country. Prince Akanmode remains an important repository of experience and wisdom, and we are proud to have him as one of our own.

“On behalf of my family, the Government and the good people of Kogi State, I warmly congratulate Prince Olusola Akanmode on this remarkable milestone. I pray Almighty God to grant him many more years in good health, peace, happiness and fulfilment, and continue to bless him with the strength and wisdom to keep contributing to the development of Kogi State and Nigeria,” Governor Ododo said.
