A jubilant atmosphere filled with excitement greeted Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as he was warmly received by thousands of supporters and well-wishers in Kabba on Tuesday.
The enthusiastic supporters, adorned in colorful attire, reaffirmed their unwavering support for the current administration in Kogi State.
They were accompanied by key government officials from Kogi West, proudly displaying signs with messages such as “We appreciate the progress in Kogi State,” “Thank you, Governor, for bringing smiles to Kogi citizens,” and “Kabba stands firmly behind the present administration.”
Governor Ododo, accompanied by top government officials, visited the ancient town of Kabba to inspect ongoing projects at Kogi State University Kabba and assess various projects’ progress.
During his visit, Governor Ododo expressed confidence that the new university would set a high standard among tertiary institutions in the state.
He praised his predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for initiating the project and pledged to continue building on his legacy to benefit the people of Kabba Bunu LGA and Kogi State as a whole.
“My administration will open floodgates of other projects for the people of Kabba Bunu LGA and Kogi State in general.” Ododo added.
He emphasized his commitment to creating an inclusive and prosperous state where every citizen is valued.
He called for continued support from the community and assured them of his dedication to fulfilling their needs and aspirations.
