Gov Ododo Celebrates APC National Chairman Yilwatda at 58, Hails Leadership, Party Unity

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on his 58th birthday, describing him as a committed party leader whose stewardship has continued to strengthen the unity, stability and growth of the ruling party.

Governor Ododo, in a congratulatory message personally signed by him and made available on Friday, said Yilwatda’s leadership had brought valuable experience, intellectual depth and political maturity to the management of the APC at a critical period in the nation’s political development.

The Governor also noted that Yilwatda’s return as National Chairman at the party’s 2026 National Convention reflected the confidence and trust reposed in his leadership by members and stakeholders of the APC.

According to Ododo, the National Chairman has demonstrated courage and wisdom in steering the affairs of the governing party while providing the direction required to sustain cohesion within its ranks.

“On behalf of my family, the Government and good people of Kogi State, I warmly congratulate our dear National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.

“Your leadership of our great party at this important moment in our national journey has demonstrated courage, wisdom, maturity and a clear commitment to the unity and progress of the All Progressives Congress,” the Governor said.

Ododo particularly commended the APC National Chairman for his efforts toward strengthening the structures of the party and providing the leadership necessary to keep the APC united and focused on advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He said Yilwatda’s leadership would remain crucial as the APC consolidates its political gains and prepares for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

The Kogi Governor expressed confidence that the National Chairman would continue to deploy his experience and capacity in the service of the party and the country.

He prayed God to grant Yilwatda many more years of good health, wisdom and fulfilment, while wishing him greater accomplishments in his service to the APC and Nigeria.

“May Almighty God continue to strengthen you, bless you with good health and grant you many more years of fruitful service to our great party, our nation and humanity.

“Happy 58th birthday, Your Excellency. Congratulations, and many happy returns,” Ododo said.
