Presidential Media Tour Day 2: Sunday Dare Commends Governor Ododo’s Developmental Strides

Sunday Dare, has commended the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his impressive developmental strides across the state, noting that the projects being executed align with the key objectives of President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda. Hon. Dare made the commendation on Monday in Egbe during the second day of the Presidential Media Tour while inspecting ongoing and completed projects in Yagba West Local Government Area and other parts of the state. According to him, the tour provided firsthand evidence of the state's commitment to infrastructure and grassroots development. "We came all the way from Lokoja, almost a five-hour journey. We have seen the efforts of Governor Ododo in constructing internal roads that provide access to farms and rural communities. Today, we have inspected a 15-kilometre stretch of internal roads, as well as Primary Healthcare Centres. The development plan being executed here in Kogi State aligns with the key elements of the Renewed Hope Agenda," he said. The Presidential aide emphasized that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to prioritize infrastructure development across the country, revealing that over 300 road projects are currently ongoing nationwide. He cited the Kabba–Egbe–Omu-Aran Road as one of the projects recently approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC). Speaking at the ongoing construction site of the Kabba–Egbe–Omu-Aran Road, Hon. Dare reiterated that President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is already yielding positive results in critical sectors, including healthcare, infrastructure, education, agriculture, manufacturing, and oil and gas. He assured Nigerians that the administration remains committed to delivering the full dividends of democracy at both the federal and state levels.

The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving and commencing the construction of key federal roads and other strategic projects in Kogi State.

He stressed that the increased revenue accruing to states under the present administration has empowered state governments to undertake transformative infrastructure projects that directly improve the lives of the people. He also assured President Tinubu of massive support from Kogi State in the next general elections.

In their separate remarks, the Chairman of Yagba West Local Government, Hon. Tosin Olokun, and the Kogi State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Joseph Oluwasegun, expressed profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the numerous infrastructure projects executed in their communities. They pledged their continued cooperation and unwavering support for both administrations.
