The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has admonished citizens of the state to embrace peace, unity, and tolerance irrespective of religious, tribal, or political differences. He urged the people to avoid anything capable of causing division among them. The Honourable Commissioner gave the charge in Ejule during the grand reception held in honour of the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Joel Salifu Oyinbo. Fanwo congratulated the Deputy Governor on the warm reception accorded him by the people, describing him as a humble Deputy Chief Servant and a dynamic unionist who has continued to demonstrate humility, capacity, competence, and loyalty to his principal. He stressed that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo enjoys a cordial working relationship with Comrade Oyinbo and has absolute confidence in him. Speaking at the event, the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Comrade Joel Salifu Oyinbo, expressed profound gratitude to Governor Ododo and the immediate past Governor of the state, Yahaya Bello, for giving him the opportunity to serve.
