The Kogi State Commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management, Engr. Joseph Oluwasegun, has conveyed his heartfelt greetings to HE Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, his deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu and all Christians in Kogi State as they celebrate Christmas.

In his message, Engr. Oluwasegun emphasized that this season, which marks the birth of Jesus Christ, is a time for reflection, prayer, and renewal.

He encouraged the people of the state to embrace the true essence of Christmas through acts of kindness, while calling for a collective effort in keeping the environment clean and healthy during the festivities.

He noted that, protecting the environment is a shared responsibility and an essential part of making Kogi State a better place for everyone.

The Commissioner commended the Governor HE Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for his outstanding commitment to the welfare of residents particularly through the timely payment of salaries which has brought significant relief to workers and residents in the State.

He added that, the Governor’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of Kogites has been evident in the state’s peaceful atmosphere and the continued improvement in the lives of its residents.

He urged individuals and communities to adopt eco-friendly practices and work together to preserve the natural beauty and resources of the State especially as they prepare for the upcoming year.

Engr. Oluwasegun wished all Christians in Kogi State a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year calling for unity and support for the administration of His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo as he continues to promote environmental sustainability for a brighter future.
