Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe, has expressed confidence that the youth in the state will benefit greatly under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

He made the statement during a visit to the University Teaching Hospital Lokoja, where he visited Veronica Bello, a 300-level Political Science student of the Federal University Lokoja, who was involved in an accident.

Hon. Anyebe emphasized that the current administration’s vision is to ensure that youth in the state feel included and supported.

He assured that as the government begins to implement programs for the youth, their genuine intentions for the youth will become more evident.

The Commissioner encouraged the youth in the state to support the administration in order to advance their progress and development.
Additionally, he advised motorists to drive cautiously to prevent avoidable accidents on the roads.

He wished Veronica a speedy recovery and reminded students to be cautious while moving on the highways.

In her response, Veronica expressed her gratitude to the Commissioner for his visit and assistance, noting that it reflects the government’s concern for the welfare of students in the state.
