By James Sani Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has assured of more job creation under his leadership. The Governor disclosed this in a message to the swearing-in ceremony of the Twenty Twenty Six Batch 'A' Stream Two Corps members deployed Kogi State for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at Orientation Camp in Asaya. Governor Ododo said his administration will work tirelessly to create job opportunities for unemployed Youths by revitalising key sectors of the economy in the State. The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe through the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Momoh Steven Azzez said government will provide positive management support needed to drive the growth and development of Youths in the State. He advised the newly deployed Corps Members to shun all forms of social voices and embrace the full advantage of the National programme to surpass the achievements of their predecessors. The Governor assured of government's commitment by taking steps to address some of the challenges facing the scheme in Kogi State, especially the upgrade of the orientation camp to compete favourably with modern camps across the nation. Governor Ododo advised them to abide by the camp rules and regulations and respect camp officials and congratulated them on the completion of their studies at that level, assuring them of their safety during their stay in Kogi State.
