The Caretaker Chairman of Mopamuro LGA, Hon. Ademola Bello Destiny, has disclosed the council’s readiness to give 50 indigent students of Mopamuro LGA scholarships to resume studies at the College of Education Technical Mopa immediately.
The Caretaker Chairman disclosed this while playing host to the Provost of College Education Technical, Kabba, Mrs. Victoria Olushola Jagboro, along with her management team at the council secretariat today.
He praised Mrs. Victoria Olushola Jagboro for the significant achievements made in Kabba in terms of academic performance of students and infrastructure in the school.
He expressed the hope that she would continue to excel in Mopamuro LGA once she and her team relocate to Mopa.

He assured her and her team of full support and cooperation, particularly in terms of accommodations, security, and logistics, to ensure that the College of Education Technical Mopa reaches its rightful place among all colleges of education in Nigeria.

In her remarks, the Provost of the College of Education Technical Kabba congratulated the Caretaker Chairman on his well-deserved appointment.

She also expressed her gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for selecting the chairman based on his wealth of experience for the people of Mopamuro LGA.

Additionally, she informed the Caretaker Chairman of their readiness to relocate to Mopamuro LGA shortly.

The Provost appealed for support and cooperation from all stakeholders in Mopamuro LGA, promising to surpass her achievements in Kabba with the help of Almighty God.

The Caretaker Chairman assured her of government support at all times.

He praised the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, as an education-friendly governor who prioritizes human development.

He assured the Provost of the state government’s support to facilitate necessary actions.

On their way for on-the-spot assessments to the newly relocated site, the caretaker chairman stopped over at Model Primary School Odole Mopa and paid all the common entrance levy of six pupils of the school.

Everyone on the entourage of the chairman and of the Provost remained dumbfounded and flabbergasted by the chairman’s kind gestures to the pupils of Model Primary School Odole, Mopa. They commended him and praised him for such an unusual act of kindness.
