Kogi State Ministry of Health Initiates Q1 Performance Dialogue for 2026

The event was inaugurated by the Kogi State Coordinating Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abdulazeez Adams Adeiza, represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Maji Enoch. The Q1 2026 Performance Dialogue took place at the Ministry's Emergency Operations Center (EOC). In his address, Mr. Maji Enoch, on behalf of the Commissioner, emphasized that the forum serves as a critical opportunity for the Ministry to rigorously evaluate its first-quarter objectives, analyze data, identify successful strategies, and address existing gaps to improve health outcomes for the state's residents. "Our commitment to evidence-based practices, transparency, and accountability is underscored by today's Dialogue," he stated. He encouraged all participants to engage openly, focus on data-driven discussions, and prioritize practical, time-bound actions to be implemented before the next review. Dr. Emmanuel Jonah, representing the State's SWAP desk, highlighted that the JAR platform is instrumental in strengthening coordination, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring that every resource yields tangible benefits for the state. Participants in the Performance Dialogue engaged in collaborative assessments of their activities, evaluating the successes achieved in advancing the state's healthcare sector for the benefit of its citizens.
