Kogi State Governor Celebrates Group Captain Yakubu Suleiman Kekere (Rtd) at 68

The Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA, has extended warm felicitations to a patriot, Group Captain Yakubu Suleiman Kekere (rtd), mni, on the occasion of his 68th birthday. In a goodwill message on Wednesday, the Governor described the retired military officer as a man of wisdom, sincerity, and undoubted commitment to the progress of Kogi State, noting that his contributions have continued to support purposeful governance in the state. Governor Ododo commended the celebrant for his invaluable counsel over the years, which he said has served as a steady compass in shaping decisions that advance the collective good of the people. He further lauded Group Captain Kekere’s life of selfless service, integrity, and deep patriotism, emphasizing that his leadership qualities reflect sacrifice and an enduring love for humanity.
