Kogi L-PRES SPC Applauds Establishment of Livestock Ministry

Kogi State Project Coordinator of Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project L-PRES, Dr. Olufemi Bolarin has applauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the approval of the establishment of the State Ministry of Livestock Development. Dr. Bolarin, in a statement described the Ministry as first of its kind in the history of Kogi State and another demonstration of the Governor's commitment to promoting livestock farming in the State. The SPC, who noted that the approval was a step in the right direction, said the State has all it takes to succeed in commercial livestock production. According to him, Livestock Farming through Kogi L-PRES has received the necessary attention under the present administration of Governor Ododo with Livestock Farmers already enjoying the dividends of the Project. He maintained that the Ministry will further add value to Livestock farming in the State, create job opportunities and improved revenue generation for the State.
