The Kogi State Government has issued a directive for shop owners currently occupying the premises of the Graphics Newspaper in Lokoja to vacate immediately.
This directive was given by the State Commissioner of Information and Communications, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, during his recent visit to the Graphics Newspaper office.
Mr. Fanwo emphasized that the premises of a newspaper organization should not be utilized for other commercial activities.
He stated that any decision to rent out property must be approved by the State Government.
Furthermore, the Commissioner instructed shop owners to promptly rebuild any damaged portions of the fence and to seek alternative locations for their businesses.
