Governor Ododo Mourns Community Leader, Adai Ahmed Obeito

The Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of respected community leader and elder, Alhaji Adai Ahmed Obeito. Governor Ododo describes the late Obeito as a strong political voice and a pillar of unity whose life was devoted to the service of his people and the progress of his community. He noted that the deceased used his age, wisdom, and wealth of experience to foster peace, strengthen communal bonds, and guide younger generations toward responsible leadership. “Alhaji Adai Ahmed Obeito was more than a leader; he was a bridge builder, a man whose voice carried weight not because of volume, but because of truth, experience, and sincerity. His contributions to community development and political engagement will not be forgotten,” the Governor stated.
