The Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA, has congratulated his brother and colleague, the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election for another term in office. Governor Ododo described the victory as a renewed mandate from the good people of Osun State and an opportunity for the Adeleke administration to consolidate its achievements and deepen development across the state. He urged his Osun State counterpart to continue to uphold the progressive ideals that have guided his administration and remain focused on policies and programmes that will improve the lives and well-being of the people of Osun State. With the election now concluded, Governor Ododo called for the unification of all interests and political tendencies in Osun State. He urged Governor Adeleke to extend the hand of fellowship across political divides and strengthen the bond of unity among the people. He stressed that the responsibility for developing Osun State belongs to all its citizens, irrespective of political affiliation, adding that the renewed mandate should provide an opportunity for stakeholders to put political differences behind them and work together for the collective interest of the state.
