GOV. ODODO FLAGS OFF DISTRIBUTION OF VEHICLES TO YOUTH AND STUDENT BODIES
Kogi State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo has flagged off the distribution of four vehicles to youth and student bodies in the state.
Governor Ododo while presenting the vehicles to the bodies in a message in Government House, Lokoja said his Government will continue to support the youth and students in the state.
Represented by the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, the Governor noted that the present administration in the state recognizes the Youth and students in view of their support for the government.
He assured the bodies of the commitment of the present administration towards the growth and development of Youth and students in the Kogi State.
The Governor while noting that the Youths are the backbone of any Government and society, said the vehicle donation symbolizes the collective commitment towards building the youth and student to a brighter future in the state.
Responding on behalf of the bodies, the National President of National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Dr. Jeremiah Elukpo commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his love for youth and students in the state.
While noting that the vehicles will go along way in enhancing their official activities and as well used for the purposed intended, Dr. Elukpo assured of their unalloyed support and loyalty to the present administration.
Dr. Elukpo commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe for carrying the youths along in their scheme of things.
The Information Officer of Kogi State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, James Sani report that National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Kogi State Youth Parliament, National Association of Nigeria Students Joint Campus Committee, Kogi State chapter and National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) were beneficiaries of the vehicles.
