Dr. Muazu Omeiza Musa urges ISS to be deliberate in the discharge of given responsibility

The Executive Director, Kogi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (KSPHCDA), Dr. Muazu Omeiza Musa says the Integrated Supportive Supervision of the Primary Health care (ISS) is not just about inspection but also meant for coaching, mentoring, and problem-solving with PHC staff to improve service quality. Dr. Muazu Omeiza Musa made the statement when the group led by the lead, Pharmacist Anthonia Lami Nebechukwu were in his office on a familiarization visit to the Agency. The Executive Director noted that the core duties of ISS fall under Five main roles which includes, Technical Support & Mentoring, Quality Assurance, Performance Monitoring and Resource Assessment etc. He stressed that the present administration has created strong policy and funding support that directly enables ISS to work at PHC level and urged them not to relent effort. Earlier, the team lead and Deputy Director, National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Pharmacist Anthonia Lami Nebechukwu said they were in the office take a look at IMPACT structures and the skills in delivering key services which includes, Routine Immunization PHC services amongst others.
