Reflecting on this year’s theme, “Accelerated Action,” Dr. Ameadaji emphasized the urgent need to fast-track efforts that ensure women are not only seen and heard but are also economically and financially empowered. “We will continue to advocate for women’s financial and economic independence,” she affirmed. Her words resonate deeply in a society where gender disparities persist and systemic barriers often hinder women's progress.
