KSPHCDA Boss Pledges Support For OMA Ear, Speech Advocacy, Urges Specialist to Remain Committed

Agency’s Executive Director encourages sustained advocacy, collaboration to improve hearing and speech healthcare at the grassroots.

The Executive Director of the Kogi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (KSPHCDA), Dr. Muazu Omeiza Musa, has urged health specialists and professionals to remain committed to their duties, assuring OMA Ear and Speech Advocacy of the agency’s support for initiatives aimed at improving community health.

Musa gave the assurance while receiving a delegation from OMA Ear and Speech Advocacy, led by its Team Leader, Audiologist Ezekiel Omale.

He stressed that the expertise and dedication of health professionals remain critical to strengthening healthcare delivery and addressing the needs of people at the grassroots.

The Executive Director encouraged the organisation to remain consistent in its advocacy, noting that sustained commitment and dedication are essential to achieving meaningful impact and creating opportunities for greater recognition.

He assured the team that the agency would support its activities whenever opportunities arise within its mandate.

Musa also encouraged Omale to seek appropriate support and collaboration from the agency whenever necessary, emphasising that partnerships among health stakeholders are vital to improving healthcare outcomes.

He urged the organisation not to relent in its professional and advocacy activities, adding that the agency remained open to initiatives that strengthen primary healthcare and expand access to essential services.

Speaking on the organisation’s activities, Omale said OMA Ear and Speech Advocacy was committed to raising awareness and promoting greater attention to ear, hearing and speech-related challenges in communities.

He explained that its activities focus on encouraging early identification of hearing and speech difficulties, promoting awareness and connecting individuals who require professional attention with appropriate services.

Omale said the organisation would continue engaging relevant government institutions and stakeholders to expand its impact across Kogi State.

He expressed appreciation to the Executive Director for his encouragement and openness to collaboration, assuring that the organisation would remain consistent in its advocacy.

He added that OMA Ear and Speech Advocacy would continue to explore opportunities to contribute to improved healthcare delivery while strengthening partnerships with the agency, other health-related ministries and stakeholders committed to community wellbeing.
