The swearing-in ceremony, which took place at the Government House, Lokoja, was presided over by His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA, who reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to repositioning the civil service as a formidable engine room for effective service delivery across the state. In his address, Governor Ododo emphasized the critical role of the civil service in policy formulation and implementation, noting that the inclusion of the Head of Civil Service in the Executive Council would further bridge the gap between policy decisions and execution. He described Hajiya Falilat Yusuf Musa Esq as a seasoned administrator whose wealth of experience and dedication to duty continue to inspire confidence within the state workforce. The Governor charged her to bring her vast expertise to bear in the deliberations of the Council, particularly in advancing reforms that will enhance productivity, accountability, and professionalism within the civil service.
