The Kogi State Government has extended its healthcare support to citizens in need, demonstrating Governor Ododo’s commitment to the health and well-being of the people of Kogi.
Recently, Governor Ododo announced a free medical health insurance program for senior citizens earning 50,000 naira or less as pension.
Those earning above 50,000 Naira will receive free health insurance for one year, after which they will pay a subsidized premium.
In addition to these initiatives, the state Ministry of Health, under the leadership of Governor Ododo, has provided assistance to individuals facing various health challenges in hospitals across Nigeria worth millions of Naira.
This support is particularly crucial at a time when economic hardships are preventing many people from seeking necessary medical attention.
Beneficiaries of this compassionate gesture include Ahmed Sani, Aayan Ohinoyi Hadi, Mohammed Jamiu Abubakar, Adebayo Oluwabukola, Okeji Cornelius Olu, Sanni Ahmad, Tijani Abdul.
These individuals are currently receiving medical care at esteemed hospitals such as the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Duchess International Hospital, and others.
