His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, has been diligently working to improve the lives of the citizens and transform the state since taking office. The ongoing road projects in Mopa and Egbe are just a glimpse of the administration’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure, fostering economic growth, and promoting the well-being of the people of Kogi State.
Governor Ododo’s unwavering commitment to development is evident through many projects and initiatives his administration implemented. These include road construction and rehabilitation, healthcare infrastructure upgrades, education sector advancements, and economic empowerment programs.
Recently, the Honorable Commissioner for Works, Engr. Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf conducted an impromptu inspection and valuation visit to the ongoing road projects in Mopa-Amuro (Mopa) and Yagba West (Egbe) to assess the quality of work carried out by the Kogi State Road Management Agency.
During the evaluation of the projects, Hon. Engr. Mohammed expressed his satisfaction with the progress and quality of work being done.
He commended the Managing Director of the State Road Maintenance Agency (KOGROMA), Engr. Dr. Yusuf Alhasan, for his dedication and commitment to excellence.
Hon. Engr. Mohammed noted that the quality of road fillings, drainage systems, culverts, kerbs, and rings is unparalleled.
The Commissioner further commended the agency’s efforts, acknowledging the significant impact of the work on the community.
As for his tradition, the Commissioner paid a courtesy visit to the Elulu of Mopa, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun, before proceeding to Egbe for further inspection of the ongoing road projects.
This visit demonstrates the Commissioner’s commitment to ensuring quality and timely completion of infrastructure projects in Kogi State, aligning with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s vision for development and progress.
The people of Kogi State are witnessing unprecedented transformation, and the Governor’s dedication to their welfare is yielding remarkable results.
