The Commissioner for Transportation in Kogi State, Hon. Atuluku Victor Levi has emphasized the importance of prioritizing the safety of commuters to motorcycle riders.
This message was conveyed during a meeting with the newly elected leadership of the Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria in his office.
Hon. Levi urged the newly elected Chairman, Mallam Abubakar Abdulrahaman to collaborate with union members and key stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and the achievement of the union’s goals.
He stressed the significance of teamwork in any organization and encouraged Mallam Abubakar to utilize it as a driving force to fulfill the mission and vision of the Union.
The Commissioner advised Mallam Abubakar to involve all members as they embark on their responsibilities.
Mallam Abubakar, in response, expressed his gratitude for being entrusted with the role and pledged to uphold the confidence placed in him.
He promised to adhere to the union’s regulations, create a conducive working environment for members, and work diligently towards advancing the union’s objectives.
Mallam Abubakar also commended the electoral body for conducting a smooth election process and expressed satisfaction with the outcome.
He extended his appreciation to the Ministry of Transportation for their continuous support and guidance, assuring them of the union’s full cooperation.
