The Nigerian Union of Journalists, Kogi State Council says the Union stands firmly behind the Kogi State Government led by His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Ododo.
During a recent visit to the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, the NUJ Press Week Committee, headed by former chairman Alhaji Adeiza Momoh-Jimoh, reiterated their unwavering support for the government.
Hon. Fanwo expressed Governor Ododo’s dedication to enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the state’s operations.
He also praised President Bola Tinubu for championing Local Government Autonomy, emphasizing the importance of grassroots politics.
The Commissioner encouraged the Union to provide necessary assistance during the upcoming Local Government Elections, assuring that the process will be transparent and credible.
Former NUJ chairman, Alhaji Momoh-Jimoh Adeiza, commended Governor Ododo for his transformative projects in the state.
He assured the Governor of the Union’s steadfast support in fulfilling their professional duties in journalism.
The Nigerian Union of Journalists, Kogi State Council, he said remains committed to promoting transparency and professionalism in their coverage of government activities.
