In a statement released on Tuesday, 29 October 2024, the Governor stated that this decision is aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of local governance across the state. The Chairman, Hon Adabenege Adams, and the Permanent Commissioners, Hon Elisha Peter Folurunsho, Hon Ahmodu Yakubu O, Hon Babadoko Suleiman, and Attai Okolo Musa Prince Salami Abdulraheem., bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record of service to their positions. Their appointments are part of the Governor's ongoing commitment to reform and strengthen local government structures, thereby improving service delivery at the grassroots level.
