PRESS STATEMENT
KOGI GOVERNMENT EXPRESSES DEEP APPRECIATION TO MR PRESIDENT FOR APPOINTING ILLUSTRIOUS INDIGENES OF THE STATE INTO STRATEGIC POSITIONS ACROSS THE SECTORS OF THE ECONOMY
1. On behalf of the Government and the good people of Kogi State, the Chief Servant of the State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, extends profound appreciation to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the appointment of distinguished sons and daughters of Kogi State into strategic positions at the federal level.
2. These appointments are not only a demonstration of Mr. President’s inclusive leadership and commitment to national integration, but also a clear testament to the confidence reposed in the capacity, competence, and character of Kogi indigenes to contribute meaningfully to national development.
3. The Government of Kogi State sincerely thanks Mr. President for his unimpeachable belief in our people and assures him of the unflinching support, loyalty, and prayers of the entire Kogi citizenry as he continues to steer the ship of the nation towards renewed hope, progress, and prosperity.
4. We heartily congratulate all appointees from Kogi State. Your elevation is a call to service and an opportunity to reflect the excellence, diligence, and integrity for which our State is known. We charge you to be shining ambassadors of our dear State, and to justify the confidence reposed in you by Mr. President and indeed, the entire nation.
5. As a government, we remain committed to supporting every Kogite entrusted with national responsibility and will continue to partner with the Federal Government for the overall progress and development of our State and the nation at large.
