Kogi State Commissioner for Works Hon. Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf Mohammed has charged the people of Kogi State and Nigeria at large to show love and care for one another as exemplifies by the birth of Jesus Christ.

In a Christmas message to the people of the State, Hon. Mohammed describes the birth of Jesus Christ as a symbol of Love to humanity urging people to extend the love to one another especially the less privileged

According to him, the birth of Jesus defines the extent of God’s love to Mankind, saying that it is a season of joy, good tidings and looking out for those that have fallen off of rough edges of life

He enjoined the people to be hopeful of better days ahead and continue to live in peace with one another, noting that without peace there can not be any meaningful development.

Hon Mohammed who expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the prompt payment of December salary to workers urges the people of Kogi State to Support the Government for the overall development of the State.

He prayed for a successful end of the year and a blissful 2025, filled with good things and a better purposeful leadership that will usher in growth, economic and social developments
