Governor Ododo Congratulates Senator Smart Adeyemi On His 66th Birthday

The Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi, CON, on the occasion of his 66th birthday, describing him as a distinguished patriot, accomplished journalist, statesman and worthy son of Kogi State whose life has been defined by service to humanity and the nation.

In a congratulatory message, Governor Ododo celebrated Senator Adeyemi’s remarkable journey from journalism to public service, noting that his decades of contributions to the media, democratic development and legislative governance have earned him an enduring place in the history of Kogi State and Nigeria.

The Governor particularly commended Senator Adeyemi’s contributions to journalism, democracy and public service, as well as his consistent commitment to the interests of his people and the development of Kogi State.

He noted that Senator Adeyemi has distinguished himself as a strong voice for his people and a respected participant in national affairs, bringing his wealth of experience, courage and intellectual depth to the service of the nation.

Governor Ododo said Senator Adeyemi remains an important stakeholder in the affairs of Kogi State, whose experience and contributions continue to enrich conversations around the development of the state and Nigeria.
