Atuluku Victor Levi, has led the Ministry’s Management Team and Resident Engineers on an inspection tour of the ongoing Kogi International Airport project to assess the level of work and ensure compliance with approved standards and specifications. The inspection was aimed at providing an on-the-spot assessment of the progress of construction activities and identifying areas requiring further attention to ensure that the project meets international standards. During the tour, the Commissioner and his team inspected various components of the project and interacted with engineers and other technical personnel handling the construction. The Resident Engineers provided updates on the level of work achieved, ongoing construction activities and technical issues requiring attention. Hon. Atuluku Victor Levi stressed the importance of quality, professionalism, strict adherence to approved specifications and timely execution of the project. He urged the contractors and technical teams to maintain the required standards and ensure that every component of the airport is delivered in line with the approved design and specifications. The Site Engineer of China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC), Engr. Karo Mohammed, alongside the Resident Architect, Sahahab Abdulrashid, and his team, conducted a technical inspection of the site, providing observations and recommendations aimed at strengthening project implementation and ensuring the long-term functionality and sustainability of the airport infrastructure.
