The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development emphasized that the rebranding project, spearheaded by the Ministry of Information and Communications, represents a significant and positive advancement for the state. Hon Aridaojo Monday Anyebe stated this during his presentation at a two-day summit/ workshop organised for Information Officers by the Ministry of Information and communications with the theme "Reimagining Kogi, Unlocking Opportunities and Building Prosperity" held at the Government House, Lokoja. The Commissioner noted that the Kogi Rebrand project was key , especially when considering the pace of development being initiated by the Governor Ododo led administration. He listed some of the achievements to includes Youth development through training and employment programmes through the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development. Hon Aridaojo Monday Anyebe said under his leadership as Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Sports received prompt attention with the support of the Chief Servant of the state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. He said before the assumption of the current administration, Sports was in a poor state as indicated by the outing at the national events, noting that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has changed the narrative. The Commissioner said from twenty four till date, the State has recorded over fifteen medals, including Gold. Hon.
