Kogi State Contingents at On Going Para Games Pledge Victory for The State

Kogi State contingents to the 3rd National Para Games holding at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja have promised to win laurels for the state. The contingents who were in high spirit for the competition said this would be the first time Kogi State will be participating in the games. Speaking on behalf of the contingents, the captain of team Kogi, Sunday Miracle said they were optimistic that they would have a good outing in the Sports fiesta. He appreciated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe for believing in them and supporting them to go for the games. Earlier, the Director Kogi State Sports Council, Mr James Igah Abel charged the team Kogi to make the state proud by winning medals for the state. He stressed that to whom much was giving much was also expected and as such they should do the state proud. In a remark the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe represented by the Director Sports Development in the ministry, Mr Aje Paul said the state governor was solidly behind them as such they should go all out to conquer in the games. Hon Aridaojo Monday Anyebe said Governor Ododo had always believed in an inclusive development that's why he ensured Kogi State participate in the games. The Commissioner charged them to be good ambassadors of the state.
