The National Executive Committee of Ejule Forum Worldwide, led by its President, Dr. Achimugu Faruk, paid an appreciation visit to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, at his residence in Okene, Okene Local Government Area. The group was led by the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Comrade Joel Salifu, who is an indigene of Ejule community. In his remarks, Dr. Achimugu Faruk said the visit was to formally thank the Governor for taking their son, Comrade Joel Salifu, as Deputy Governor, and Hon. David Idris Zacharias as the Member representing Idah Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. He commended the Governor for providing two 500KVA transformers to communities in Ejule, the ongoing construction of a cottage hospital nearing completion, and security interventions that have made Ejule and Kogi East safer. Dr. Faruk appealed for more potable water, the revitalization of Ejule market, the construction of the Ejule/Allah to Egabada road, and improved education facilities. He pledged the support of Ejule Forum and the community to the re-election of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections. In his response, Governor Ododo thanked the group for the visit and their support during the last governorship election. He stressed that unity is key to development and urged the people of Ejule to remain united and peaceful.
