The Acting Chief Medical Director of Prince Abubakar Audu University Teaching Hospital, along with the management of this state-owned institution, has extends their heartfelt appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his unwavering commitment to enhancing infrastructure development and the overall well-being of both staff and students.
This message of appreciation was articulated in a statement issued by Dr. Nayo Antony, the Acting Chief Medical Director of Kogi State Prince Abubakar Audu University Teaching Hospital, and shared with news reporters in Lokoja earlier today 20th November 2025.
In the statement, Dr. Nayo expressed gratitude to The Governor for the support provided to Prince Abubakar Audu University Teaching Hospital, Anyigba, particularly in the areas of infrastructural development and human resources. This support has been instrumental in achieving accreditation for the Nursing Science and Medical Laboratory Science programs by the National University Commission.
Dr. Nayo also acknowledged the significant contributions of the Honourable Coordinating Commissioner for Health, commending his focused and visionary leadership that has driven these achievements. Under his guidance, PAAUTH has undergone a remarkable transformation.
The statement further recognized the vital role of Dr. Abdulazeez Adams Adeiza, the Coordinating Commissioner for Health, in elevating the state’s health institutions to a commendable level of excellence.
