Gov Ododo’s Investment in Education Yields Results at Kogi State University Kabba”

His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commitment to education has yielded remarkable results at Kogi State University Kabba. The university’s transformation is evident, with quality roads and standard building infrastructure being constructed.

A media team led by the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, today visited the university and was impressed by the progress.

During the visit, Hon Kinsley Fanwo lauded Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commitment to education in Kogi State revealing that Governor Ododo has credibly faulted the doubt that the State would not be able to raise three universities simultaneously.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Temitope Eniola, warmly welcomed the team and expressed his excitement about the government’s investments in the university.
He further commended the Governor for supporting the institution, describing it as one of the fastest-growing universities in Nigeria.

“We are not just having a bridge, but we are having a fantastic road network into the university,” Prof. Eniola said. “We are also looking at the physical structures in the institutions, the buildings, and the roads are fantastic.”

The Vice Chancellor commended Governor Ododo’s commitment to education, stating, “We are excited because of the true commitment and devotion shown by the government towards the university.” He noted that the university has been enjoying development in the last two years and predicted that in five years, the university would be unrecognizable.

The university’s transformation is attributed to Governor Ododo’s passion and zeal for educational development. “We give glory to God Almighty and continue giving kudos to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his passion and zeal for educational development,” Prof. Eniola said.

The projects inspected during the visit include a completed administrative building, an ongoing Senate building, male and female hostels, and renovations at the Mass Communication and Theatre Arts departments. The university’s improved accessibility is a major highlight, with the Vice Chancellor thanking Governor Ododo for his vision and commitment to education.

“Before, the university was not accessible, but now it is,” Prof. Eniola said. “We are grateful for Governor Ododo’s leadership and commitment to education.”

Governor Ododo’s administration has invested heavily in education, with notable improvements in infrastructure at Kogi State University Kabba. The university’s transformation is evident, with quality roads and standard building infrastructure being constructed.

The Commissioner for Works, Engr Hon. Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf praised Governor Ododo for quality job and promised to replicate the gesture come 2027.
