Gov Ododo Opens Capacity-Building Workshop for World Bank Project Implementation Units in Kogi State By Abah Benjamin Eneojoh Lokoja July 21, 2025 Ealier today in Government House Lokoja, the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA, inaugurated a capacity-building workshop for World Bank project implementation units in Lokoja, emphasizing the importance of effective project management for the development of Kogi State. Represented by his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu, the Governor highlighted the state-led initiative aimed at enhancing the performance of Project Implementation Units (PIUs) across various line ministries. The workshop's objective is to strengthen the capacity of Project Implementation Units to manage and monitor World Bank-assisted projects using modern digital tools for transparency and accountability.
