*By James Sani* In a historic Town Hall meeting, the youth of the Kogi Central Senatorial District, which includes the local government areas of Okene, Okehi, Adavi, Ogori Magongo, and Ajaokuta, gathered to express their unequivocal support for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. This groundbreaking initiative, spearheaded by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe, along with his ministry's appointees, marked a significant moment in the engagement of young people within the region. The Town Hall meeting, the first of its kind organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, aimed to unite the youth and address issues that could positively impact their lives under the current administration. Throughout the event, speakers praised the initiative, highlighting the administration's commitment to inclusivity and collaboration with the youth. They emphasized that Governor Ododo's leadership seeks to empower young people and integrate them into the governance process. In Okene, Mr. Mubarak Ibrahim Umar, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Empowerment, conveyed the sentiments of the Central Senatorial District's residents, stating their satisfaction with Governor Ododo's exemplary leadership.
