Recently, Ambassador Hamza Lawal paid a visit to the Kogi State College of Nursing Sciences, Obangede, where he generously donated sanitary pads and writing materials to female students of the institution. The Provost of the college, Mr. James Duro Anaza Joseph, warmly received Ambassador Lawal and his team. In his welcome address, the Provost expressed profound gratitude to the Ambassador for choosing the college as the first beneficiary of this kind gesture. He lauded Ambassador Lawal’s initiative, which directly supports the welfare of students, particularly young women. The Provost also used the opportunity to request further assistance for the development of the college. In his remarks, Ambassador Hamza Lawal — a distinguished son of Ebira land — thanked the Provost and the college community for the warm reception. He stated that the donation initiative stemmed from a deep concern for students from low-income backgrounds who struggle to afford basic hygiene products. He emphasized that maintaining good hygiene is essential for health and dignity, especially among female students. Ambassador Lawal assured the college that this is just the beginning of more interventions to come, pledging to return with more initiatives aimed at putting smiles on the faces of students.
