Kogi Launches 2025 Vehicle Branding Stickers

In its bid to regulate and control commercial vehicles operating in the State, Kogi State Signage and Advertising Agency has flagged off Vehicles Branding Stickers for 2025.

In a ceremony in Lokoja on Tuesday, the General Manager of the Agency Hon. Osaseyi Richard called on the branded vehicles operating in the State to come to the Agency and obtained their stickers for proper identification.

He stated that as part of the responsibilities of KOSSAA it has become necessary for branded vehicles operating to be identified with the sticker for proper monitoring and regulations.

According to him, the Agency has the responsibility of not just regulating outdoor advertisement to make sure it complied with the law but also has the responsibility of branding vehicles in the State.

He commended the Governor of the State Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his unwaivering support for the Agency and promised that the Agency would continue to carry out its responsibilities as enshrined by the Law.

Earlier, The Director MDA’s and Revenue, Kogi State Internal Revenue Services (KGIRS) Hajia Hassana Salawu said that the Agency backed by the Kogi State Advertisement Law is empowered to regulate Branded Vehicles operating in the State.

She added that Kogi State having joined other states in Nigeria to pass the law, proper compliance should be done by the companies involved for the smooth running of KOSSAA

Hajia Hassana explained further that the 2025 Vehicle Branding Stickers would improve quality delivery, accountability and orderliness in the state.

She commended the Management of KOSSAA for coming out with this laudable initiative and called on the stakeholders to comply with the Agency for smooth implementation of the policy.

Hajia Hassana while encouraging the Stakeholders to be conversant with KOSSAA law for healthy working relationships and also called on branded vehicles, tricycles, and motorcycles to be registered, verified and documented by the Agency in order for them to freely operate within and outside the State.

Also speaking the Director Information Services Ministry of Information and Communications Alhaji Ademu Seidu who represented the State Commissioner for Information and Communications Hon. Kingsley Fanwo described KOSSAA as one of the fastest growing Agencies judging by the achievements recorded so far by the Agency.

He noted that branded vehicles stickers have become necessary because it would ensure proper control of all the branded vehicles in the state.

The Commissioner called on the stakeholders, branded vehicle owners, companies and individuals to pass across the message and create awareness about the activities of KOSSAA.
