KOGI TASKED STATE CONTINGENTS AT THE ONGOING NATIONAL SPORTS FESTIVAL IN ABEOKUTA, TO MAKE THE STATE PROUD IN ALL COMPETITION
Commissioner for Youth and sports Development, Hon Aridaojo Monday Anyebe has further tasked the state contingents at the ongoing national sports festival in Abeokuta, Ogun State to go all out to make the state proud in the competition. The commissioner gave the charge when he addressed the athletes and their coaches in their camp. Hon. Anyebe said he visit to the camp was to solidarise with the athletes and was impressed to see them in high spirit and enthusiasm. He said Governor Usman Ododo had made adequate arrangements for their welfare as such they should reciprocate that gesture by winning medals. Responding, the Director Kogi state Sports Council, Elder Akowe Adejoh, appreciated the Commissioner for the show of solidarity, stressing that this had further motivated the athletes to win medals. While appreciating the governor for making funds available for the welfare of the athletes and their coaches, they promised the resolve of the athletes to have a good outing during the competition.
