The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Comrade Joel Salifu, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Kogi State on the festive occasion of the 2024 Christmas celebration and New Year.
In a message made available to the public by his Press Secretary, Unubi Emmanuel, Deputy Governor Joel Salifu urged all residents to embody the virtues of love and selflessness as demonstrated in the sacred scriptures. He also advocated for the continued peace and togetherness of the people for the advancement of the state.
The Deputy Governor emphasized that the Christmas season signifies a period of jubilation, shared joy, and love among the people as prescribed in the sacred texts. He urged the populace to uphold peace and unity, emphasizing that prosperity and progress can only flourish in a harmonious and peaceful environment.
“As we revel in the delight and blessings of this festive Christmas season, I extend my sincerest wishes to every resident of our beloved state and Nigeria. May this celebratory period usher in peace, love, and prosperity into your households. Let us continue to coexist harmoniously as we move towards a more brighter and prosperous year ahead. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all,” he added.
